GUIDELINES
for Artists Submitting Images
FIRST STEP:
Contact Elenor Trifon or Laurie Friedman at (212) 431-0607 to arrange your participation in Art for Media.

SECOND STEP:
Once your participation is agreed to by Art for Media, send your disk or CD with a check as a processing fee in the amount of $75. payable to John Tomlinson. (Art for Media will return your disk but you must send a stamped self-addressed envelope with your material.)

We regret that materials submitted to Art for Media will not be accepted or processed for the website if they do not meet the following requirements:
1. The form accessed below printed and completed with the required information.
• List dimensions of work using H and W for heighth and width.
• Indicate medium.
• Very Important: Indicate TOP of image either on the image photo of the CD case or on an enclosed diagram.
• Indicate category: Abstract, Representational, Photography or Sculpture.
• Write your name, mailing address and telephone number on the form.
2. Images on a zip disk formatted for Macintosh or Wintel; OR,
3. Images on a CD formatted for Macintosh or both Mac and Wintel platforms.
(Need a processor? We recommend New York Filmworks on Broadway between 22nd and 23rd Streets.)
 4. Check payable to John Tomlinson.
5. Stamped self-addressed envelope.

It can be printed directly as a word processing document.
If you have difficulty accessing or printing it, contact Art for Media to have a printed copy mailed or faxed to you.
IF YOU ARE ALREADY AN ART FOR MEDIA ARTIST AND WANT TO ADD OR CHANGE IMAGES, CLICK HERE

• Attention artists submitting images ready for the website •

Here's how to submit them:
• Top of the image properly oriented and image properly aligned
• Cropped to image or with a white border
• All images jpegs
• Auto Level, Auto Contrast or Brightness/Contrast to get proper color
• All thumbnails 65 pixels in height; all presentation images 151 pixels in height
Optional in Adobe Photoshop:
• Unsharp Mask
• Save for Web
(Indicate on the PDF form that the images have been pre-processed)
